Leopold Stokowski

Leopold Stokowski was one of the greatest conductors of all time. Innovative and sometimes a mystery to his contemporaries, he had no inhibitions to make changes to scores of great masters, such as Beethoven or Tchaikovsky, if this served the work in any kind. One of his most famous collaborations was with Walt Disney as they created the film Fantasia.
